The Rebuild Ukraine Hackathon, in collaboration with WZMH Architects, Sparkbird, and Giraffe, and with Autodesk Forma as the key sponsor, invites post-secondary students across Ukraine to participate in a design competition aimed at developing architectural and urban planning solutions for two sites in Kherson, a city that has been heavily impacted by war. Participants can select one of the two sites to create a master plan for an urban environment that includes a mix of residential, retail, commercial, and hospitality spaces, along with parks and public areas. Use of Autodesk Forma will be a mandatory requirement for this competition, as it will be integral in addressing environmental and sustainability challenges within the design.
